The school day is 8:30 a.m. - 3:10 p.m. See our timetable.
There are two semesters. Please note that at Maple HS, our school year starts earlier than some other schools. Check the early start school year calendar for dates.

Transitioning to Secondary School
We are here to support students in their transition to Grade 9 and throughout their high school years. We take extra care to ensure Grade 9 students feel welcomed, prepared and supported.
This includes:
- Grade 8 transition supports, including visits to feeder schools and open houses
- academic and well-being supports
- a welcome day for Grade 9s on the first day of school
- the opportunity to pair with a mentor and camp day at Camp Green Acres
