Scholarships by Month
TD Scholarships for Community Leadership
Are you a student in your final year of high school (if you live outside Quebec), or in your last year of CEGEP (if you live in Quebec)? Have you shown a commitment to making a positive difference in your community? You may be eligible for a TD Scholarship for Community Leadership valued at up to $70,000 over 4 years toward a post-secondary college or university education.
Apply online between September 4 and November 13, 2024.
Loran Award
Need to be well rounded, have demonstrated character, leadership and a strong commitment to service in the community.
Be in your final year of uninterrupted full-time studies in high school.
Present a minimum cumulative average of 85%.
Hold Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.
Be at least 16 years of age by September 1st of the following year.
Deadline to apply is October 15th.
AES Engineers Scholarship
“Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.”
The Horatio Alger Association of Canada Scholarships
Scholarships of up to $10,000 are awarded to full-time students in their final year of high school with financial need (family income under $55,000) who have demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, a commitment to pursue a post-secondary education, a desire to contribute to society, and a good academic record
University of Toronto Book Award
The University of Toronto National Book Award Program recognizes and rewards the very best Canadian secondary school students, regardless of which university those students choose to attend. These are students who demonstrate superior academic performance, original and creative thought, and exceptional achievement in a broad context. In order to be considered for the Book Award, you must complete the attached application. Please note: You do not have to type on the template provided for the nomination form. You can use the format and convert to a Word document to allow for further elaboration. Please upload your completed application to the Maple HS Regular Scholarship Submission form by October 4th.
***If you are the Book Award winner, University of Toronto will immediately invite you to apply for the University of Toronto National Scholarship which is due on October 17, 2024. Only the Book Award Winner will be able to apply for the National Scholarship. The application for the University of Toronto National Scholarship can be found here.
Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program
The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program at the University of Toronto is intended to recognize international students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and creativity and who are recognized as leaders within their school. A special emphasis is placed on the impact the student has had on the life of their school and community, and their future potential to contribute positively to the global community. In order to be considered, you must complete the on-line application and upload a completed copy to the Maple HS Regular Scholarship Submission form by October 4, 2024. Please note: You do not have to type on the template provided for the nomination form.
***If you are the selected as the Maple High School nominee, you must apply to the University of Toronto by October 18, 2024 and you must submit your scholarship application to the University of Toronto (they will provide the submission instructions) by November 8, 2024. Aircraft Electronics Association Educational Foundation Scholarship
Since its inception, the AEA Educational Foundation has awarded more than $1.5 million to students seeking careers in the aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry, as well as technicians from AEA member companies. Numerous scholarships are available, ranging from $1,000 to more than $35,000 each.
RBC Students Leading Change Scholarships
The recipients were selected based on their passion to lead inspire positive change in their communities.
Automotive Industries Association of Canada
To be eligible to win an Arthur Paulin Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in an automotive aftermarket industry related program or curriculum at a Canadian college or university. This includes students pursuing their studies as an automotive apprentice. It also includes studies in any of the following automotive sectors: auto body, hard parts, heavy duty, or motive power (machinists).
Queen's University Major Admission Awards
Students who demonstrate superior academic ability, creative and original thinking, involvement in school or community activities, and proven leadership can apply for a Queen’s major admission award. Financial need is also a consideration for some of our major admission awards. In order to be considered, you must complete the on-line application and upload a completed copy to the Maple HS Regular Scholarship Submission form by November 29th. Please do not submit the application on the Queen's website. Only 2 students per school can be selected. You will be informed if you are chosen, after which you may submit your application.
Please note: Apply for admission to Queen’s via the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) no later than November 20 to ensure that you gain access to SOLUS to submit your MAA application by December 8. It takes 4-6 business days to receive your SOLUS login from the date you applied to Queen's University.
Terry Fox Award
Recognizes humanitarian volunteer work; must demonstrate strong performance in academics, athletics, and volunteerism. Award recognizes someone who has overcome adversity. Deadline to apply is early December.
Schulich Leader Nominee Application
Schulich Leader Scholarships are Canada’s most coveted undergraduate STEM scholarships.
Fifty are awarded to entrepreneurial-minded high school graduates enrolling in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math program at 20 partner universities across Canada. Twenty-five are valued at $100,000 for engineering scholarships and 25 are valued at $80,000* for science and math scholarships.
Every high school in Canada can nominate one graduating student each year to apply for the scholarship. Please note: You do not have to type on the template provided for the nomination form. You can use the format and convert to a Word document to allow for further elaboration. Burger King Scholars
Available to all high school students who are living in Canada, grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale and planning to enroll full-time at a college or university.
Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation Scholarship & Citizenship Award
Exemplary citizenship through school and community service and volunteerism, has financial needs but may not receive a scholarship based on marks alone.

York University International Student Scholarship & Award
York University International Student Scholarship & Award Application. These scholarships and awards are for international student applicants with an exceptional academic profile, and who demonstrate leadership through community service or excellence in the arts or sport. Students do not need an offer of admission to apply for York entrance awards and scholarships.
University of Western

Entrance Scholarships-- for Engineering at McMaster
Only one application is required to be considered for all eligible Faculty of Engineering entrance scholarships.
A.B.L.E. – Canadian Black Law Enforcers
Scholarship for Black students who wish to enter the field of law enforcement, criminology, law and criminal justice studies, police foundations. Registration package will come out at a later date.
The Children's Aid Foundation Scholarship
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be a current Crown (permanent) Ward, or have been a Crown (permanent) Ward for at least one year, or be eligible for Continued Care and Support for Youth, under 26 years of age at the start of their current school program, or under 30 years of age if they have received scholarship or bursary funding from the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada for the same program in previous year and registered at an accredited post-secondary institution as a full time student, or have full time status granted through an accommodation, for at least 2 semesters of the upcoming school year.
Schulich Builders Scholarship for Skilled Trades
The Schulich Foundation is excited to kick off the another year of Schulich Builders, scholarships for the skilled trades. They are awarding 100 Scholarships for one-year certificate and two-year diploma focussing on skilled trades at 10 Ontario colleges, with a value of $40.000 per award for two-year diploma programs and $20,000 per award for one-year certificate programs. We rely on skilled trades to build and maintain the infrastructure of our cities and towns. Our challenge is not having enough of these talented people to meet the demands fueled by our growth. Schulich Builders will combat the shortage of skilled trades in Ontario and amplify their importance and value to our communities by awarding 100 annual scholarships to the most promising candidates. The Guidance Department is looking to nominate up to five (5) students for the Schulich Builders Scholarship for Skilled Trades Scholarship. The student must be a Canadian citizen, have a strong work ethic, demonstrate financial need, and be respectful of people from different backgrounds. Students must be enrolling in a full time, eligible skilled trades one-year certificate or two-year diploma program at a participating college starting in the Fall. Horatio Alger Scholarships of Canada
The Horatio Alger Association of Canada provides $1.2 million annually in need-based scholarship support for deserving students in all Canadian provinces and territories. Scholarships of up to $10,000 are awarded to full-time students in Grade 11 with financial need (family income under $65,000) who have demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, a commitment to pursue a post-secondary education, a desire to contribute to society, and a good academic record. Deadline is mid-March.
Canadian Hospitality Foundation
For students entering university in Hotel & Food Administration at Guelph. University or Hospitality and Tourism at Toronto Metropolitan University. Please download and complete the application forms on the website.
Toronto Real Estate Board Scholarship
TREB’s Past President’s Scholarship program annually awards scholarships on behalf of TREB Member REALTORS® to graduating high school seniors pursuing post-secondary education, for example, university, college, or trade school. Two $5,000 first place scholarships and two $2,500 second place scholarships are available.

Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN) - Bursary
Bursaries are available to grade 12 students in Ontario, pursuing post-secondary studies related to the many careers in the justice system at an Ontario University or College. These bursaries have been created to assist students who demonstrate academic excellence and commitment to their studies and who are in financial need. Bursaries are offered in each judicial region by the Association of Justices of the Peace of Ontario (AJPO), the Association of Ontario Judges and the Ontario Superior Court Judges’ Association (OSCJA)

Cooper Memorial School Award
Roy Cooper Memorial Scholarship: LDAO offers an annual $1,000 scholarship award in memory of Roy V. Cooper, whose volunteerism within his own chapter community and the LDAO is recognized. The scholarship recognizes an Ontario high school student who has a documented Learning Disability and who will be attending a postsecondary institution in the upcoming academic year. The student must be pursuing a bachelor of engineering or a bachelor of science in a physical sciences discipline (please note: physical sciences do not include social sciences or technology majors).

The Bill 7 Award
Open to individuals who meet ALL of the following criteria: individuals who are attending or accepted by a Post-Secondary Educational Institution in the Province of Ontario; who have demonstrated financial need; who are pursuing their first post-secondary program of study; and who identify as lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirited, and/or queer.
The Markham African Caribbean Canadian Association (MACCA)
MACCA will be awarding Scholarships based on students’ involvement and dedication to their community and academic achievements. One outstanding student that excels in these areas and demonstrates that they have gone above the norm will receive the President’s award. The deadline is typically the last day in June of the current school year. When the application is made available, it will be linked on the MACCA website.

Royal Canadian Legion Bursary
As part of the Legion’s commitment to youth, many Branches award scholarships through their General Funds to recognize scholastic achievement and support youth in their community. Criteria for these funds are established by the Branch or Provincial Command.
The Civil Engineering Scholarship

Graduation Awards
Applications are completed via Google form this year. Each award has a separate google form to be completed and submitted, which are linked below.
All applications are to be submitted by Friday, May 2nd, 2025 at 3:10 pm in order to be considered. Students will be presented with the award at the graduation ceremony.
